Alpertus of Metz : ウィキペディア英語版 | Alpert of Metz Alpert of Metz〔Albert of Metz, Alpertus of Metz, Alpertus Mettensis, Alpertus van Metz, Albertus van Metz, Alpert von Metz〕 (died 1024) was a Benedictine chronicler of the eleventh century. His ''De diversitate temporum''〔The Diversity of Times; known also as ''Gebeurtenissen van deze tijd'', a Dutch translation.〕 is a major source for the history of Western Europe (particularly for France, Western Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands) in the period it covers, which is 990 to 1021.
